What your day-to-day will look like:
- In some cases, negotiate and determine the best price with vendors.
- Provide quotes to finance.
- Track vendor performance and ongoing service to determine best resources for our department.
- Use the maintenance system to maintain tracking and data integrity.
- Act as point of contact for all questions or issues concerning vender repairs.
- Track and file all information including invoices, payment statements, documentation reflecting all invoices and payments made for our partners and vendors.
- Send equipment out for repair and calibration as required.
- Respond effectively to all emergencies.
- Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas. Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them.
- Maintain compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws.
- Complies with all policies for the safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
- Documents work performance and materials procurement as directed.
- Any and all other duties and tasks assigned.
Work Schedule: Dayshift, Monday through Friday with on call availability as needed.
Preferred Experience and Technical Skills:
- Experience in pharmaceutical or manufacturing environments.
- Working knowledge of facility maintenance operations.
- Experience with multiple vendor relationship management.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CMMS systems.
- Previous experience in coordination or administrative role within maintenance or facilities.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and inventory management.
Required Experience and Technical Skills:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Three (3) years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, along with CMMS software.
- Strong understanding of equipment and maintenance supplies required in facilities maintenance.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work on building roofs when necessary.
- Proficiency in completing required written documentation.
- This role requires occasional on-call availability and the ability to work in all weather conditions
