Saw Operator**
**Job Description**
As a Saw Operator, you will be at the forefront of our custom stone fabrication process, working from Monday to Friday, between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM. This hands-on role involves loading, programming, and offloading our sawjet system using overhead cranes. It is perfect for someone with a strong work ethic, a team-oriented mindset, and a desire to grow in a skilled trade.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate saws and related equipment to cut stone to specifications.
+ Load and unload slabs using overhead cranes.
+ Read and follow blueprints, templates, and cutting plans.
+ Perform quality checks and routine maintenance.
+ Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
+ Communicate with team members to meet production goals.
**Essential Skills**
+ Ability to follow standard procedures and safety protocols.
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Saw operation and machine operating skills.
+ Blueprint reading and ability to work with measurements such as tape measure.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Interest in learning and working in a team environment.
+ Forklift experience is preferred.
+ Experience in stone, manufacturing, fabrication, or construction is a plus.
+ Ability to lift and move 80+ lbs regularly.
+ Comfortable standing for long periods.
+ Must be able to work on feet.

Work in a clean production shop environment that is wet due to water involvement in the cutting process. The shop is equipped with dust, noise, and machinery, providing an engaging and dynamic workplace.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Moorhead, Minnesota.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
