Drill Press Operator**
**Job Description**
As a Drill Press Operator, you will operate multiple CNC equipment including saws, drills, angle machines, sheers, brake press, and coping machines. You will be responsible for transitioning between equipment using a single software system and executing orders efficiently during your shift.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate and manage CNC saws, drills, angle machines, sheers, brake press, and coping machine.
+ Transition seamlessly between different equipment using the same software.
+ Operate a forklift and/or overhead crane to gather raw steel beams or plates for production.
+ Assist in supplying finished products to the Paint department or other areas as needed.
+ Work outdoors in the yard moving and offloading large steel pieces.
+ Maintain high attention to detail and adhere to safety standards.
+ Participate in cross-training to gain exposure to various aspects of the facility.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum 3-5 years of experience in CNC operations with various equipment.
+ Proficiency in reading a tape measure and using measuring tools.
+ Experience with forklifts and overhead cranes.
+ Ability to read blueprints and perform inspections.
+ Knowledge of mechanical systems and machine operations.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in steel fabrication and sheet metal work.
+ Familiarity with construction, inventory management, and production processes.
+ Comfortable working with hand tools and operating bandsaws, presses, and mills.

**Work Environment**
The position requires working on the 2nd shift from 4:30pm to 3am, with occasional Saturdays for mandatory overtime. You will train on the day shift for a short period. The facility is non-climate controlled, and candidates must be comfortable working in a loud, heavy industrial environment. Safety is prioritized, with the requirement of steel toe boots and safety glasses.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
