Industrial Mechanic - Keep the Machines Moving, Keep the World Turning! Location: Centralia, Illinois Job Type: Contract to Hire Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for precision? We're looking for an Industrial Mechanic who's ready to dive into the heart of our operationskeeping our machines running smoothly and our production on point. What You'll Be Doing: Perform preventative maintenance on motors, pneumatic circuits, conveyor systems, and more. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using your sharp eye and technical tools. Fabricate and repair parts using machine shop equipment . Use schematics, blueprints, and manuals to guide your work. Keep detailed maintenance records and communicate effectively with your team. What You Bring: Strong troubleshooting skills in pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems. Experience as a maintenance technician or industrial mechanic. Ability to work with hydraulic systems, pumps , and test instruments. Mechanical aptitude and a proactive mindset. Bonus Points For: 2-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance. Relevant technical schooling or certifications. Exposure to electrical systems and safety protocols. Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour , depending on experience Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $35.00/hr.
