Press Operator**
**Job Description**
The role involves operating a metal stamping press to execute specific jobs within the structural connecting systems industry. Candidates will be responsible for interpreting information from work orders and blueprints to manufacture products. The role includes setting up for each job and loading and packing parts under the direction and guidance of a supervisor.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate and set up metal stamping press machines.
+ Interpret and execute work orders and blueprints for product manufacturing.
+ Load and pack parts efficiently, ensuring quality control.
+ Collaborate with supervisors for guidance on job execution.
**Essential Skills**
+ 1+ years of experience operating stamping press or CNC machines.
+ Proficiency in reading blueprints.
+ Experience using a tape measure and performing basic math calculations.
+ Knowledge of punch press, sheet metal, fabrication, and calipers.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience operating a high-speed punch press is advantageous.
+ Experience working with sheet metal is preferred.
+ Ability to use micrometers, height gauges, and calipers.
+ Desire to run high-volume, fast-paced jobs.

**Work Environment**
The work environment consists of multiple shift options with varied hours. The first shift runs from 6am to 4:30pm, Monday to Thursday, with the possibility of additional hours on Friday and sometimes Saturday. The second shift operates from 4pm to 2:30am, Monday to Thursday, with similar additional hours. There is also a weekend shift available from 6am to 10am on Thursday, and 6am to 6:30pm from Friday to Sunday.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.50/hr.
