Water Jet Operator Job Description We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Water Jet Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining water jet cutting machines to produce precision parts from a variety of materials and metals. This role requires a strong understanding of machine operation, blueprint reading, and quality control. Pay: $25 - $35 Shift: 1st shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday Location: Pembroke, MA Responsibilities Set up and operate water jet cutting machines according to specifications. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files to determine cutting paths. Load and secure materials onto the cutting table. Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality and accuracy. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on water jet equipment. Inspect finished parts for conformance to specifications using measuring tools. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Document production data and report any issues to supervisors. Essential Skills 2+ years of experience operating CNC or water jet cutting machines Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Familiarity with CAD/CAM software is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract-to-Hire position based out of Pembroke, Massachusetts. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
