Deluxe Media Inc. has a job opportunity for a Software Developer in Burbank, CA.
Position Summary
Design and develop digital media supply chain products including back-end services and APIs for streaming platforms; integrate APIs with third-party systems for digital asset management systems; implement digital media authentication and authorization systems and adjust requirements for scalability and performance; design and analyze data ingestion pipelines using ETL tools and analytics; leverage AWS Cloud expertise to automate Order Management Systems, Inventory Management Systems, and Metadata Management Systems; develop scalable architectures using serverless frameworks and containerized technologies; develop core architecture for backend frameworks and common libraries with .Net Core and .Net Framework; upgrade platforms for digital supply chain and media distribution using Aspera, Rhozet, Hybrik, Signiant, SmartJog, Baton QC, and encoding tools; collaborate with Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, and DevOps teams to analyze and modify architecture designs, CI/CD pipelines, and system observability features; research and develop proofs of concept to improve cloud services; apply deep knowledge of media workflows with Interoperable Media Formats (IMF) for transcoding, encoding, high-speed distribution, and delivery of assets and metadata systems; and confer with Product and QA teams as well as engineering managers to understand, contribute to, and support the digital media engineering roadmap.
Requirements
Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
5 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience as Software Developer, Software Application Developer, Application Support Engineer, or a related role.
Experience must include:
Net Core C#; AWS Cloud;
SQL (MSSQL, PGQL) and NoSQL (Document DB, Redis, Elasticache);
digital asset management;
digital supply chain;
transcoding with Hybrik, Elemental, and Rhozet;
Interoperable Master Format (IMF) for HD, UHD, and 4K content;
delivery technologies including Signiant, Aspera, and SmartJog;
encoding and QC tools including Baton; and
CI/CD tools and containerization.
Position allows some work-from-home flexibility, with schedule to be approved by manager. Must be able to work on site as required.
This role is based in California and the base pay range for this role is $176,134 - $193,748 annually. Actual amounts will vary depending on education, skills, experience, and geographic location.
