Shift Maintenance Technician - Hydro** **Role**
**Key Responsibilities:**
**Has advanced skills, typically gained through a combination of job-related training/education and considerable work experience**
**May act as a lead, coordinating the work of others**
**Works autonomously within established procedures and practices**
**Has developed a specialized level of skill to perform assigned tasks**
**Other Responsibilities:** **Supply**
**The design, planning, execution, control, and monitoring of supply chain activities with the objective of creating net value**
**Building a competitive infrastructure**
**Leveraging worldwide logistics**
**Synchronizing supply with demand**
**Measuring performance globally**
**Other Responsibilities:** **Plant Operations**
**Operations Management leads and integrates the efforts of a single team or multiple teams across all shifts responsible for all quality, safety, cost, reliability and quantity of the line or lines which make up the value stream.**
**Responsible for sound people management, problem solving and project management skills**
**Responsible for producing finished goods or sub-assemblies for finished goods**
**Machine operator or a team leader who helps coordinate activities and effectiveness of a group of machine operators as they complete their shift schedules**
**Reliability/Maintenance**
**General Maintenance includes skilled trades workers who construct, maintain, and repair facilities systems, buildings, and equipment including:**
**Carpentry, plumbing, electrical,** **heating/ventilation/air** **conditioning (HVAC), welding, and mechanical repair & maintenance**
**Machining repair & maintenance trades (i.e., tool & die making, mold making, metal part making, etc.)**
**Computer Numeric Control (CNC) Programming**
**Heavy Equipment Operators.**
**Reliability roles are responsible for the reliability of manufacturing machineries or power plant equipment that is used to manufacture finished goods, sub- assemblies for finished goods, or equipment used to carry out our logistics function.**
