Operator-3rd shift Job Description The operator is responsible for the setup, operation, and monitoring of machines and equipment in a safe and productive manner. This role involves quality testing of products, ensuring proper raw material usage, packaging finished products, performing minor machine maintenance, and completing necessary paperwork. The operator must meet or exceed quality and production standards and contribute to a team environment. Additionally, the operator assists in preparing parts for S&R by making labels and coordinating with OP1's. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor machinery and equipment safely and productively. Conduct quality testing of products and ensure proper usage of raw materials. Package finished products and perform minor maintenance on machines. Complete all necessary paperwork accurately. Meet or exceed standards for quality and production. Assist team members in the performance of their duties. Prepare labels and parts for S&R. Essential Skills 3+ years of experience operating machines in a manufacturing environment. Experience with CNC, Plastic Injection, or Press machines. Ability to document production, preferably using a computer. Quality inspection experience beyond visual checks. Blueprint and first piece last piece inspection experience. Proficiency with gauges and micrometers. Teamwork experience, including assisting operators as needed. Additional Skills & Qualifications General labor skills. Machine operating and hand tool proficiency. Assembly and inspection capabilities. General production and packing knowledge. Why Work Here?
