Job Description
Seeking Production Operators in Evansville, WY**
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Shifts Available: Day (7:00 AM 7:00 PM) & Night (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
Schedule:2-2-3 rotating schedule (every other weekend is a 3-day weekend)
**About the Role**
We are looking for reliable and mechanically inclined individuals to join our production team as Downstream Operators. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that finished products meet customer specifications through careful handling, inspection, and packaging. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with room for growth.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Operate standard tools and measuring devices to verify product quality
+ Wrap finished products neatly and evenly around reels
+ Perform quality checks throughout the production process
+ Use hand and power tools to cut conduit
+ Inspect packaging and labeling prior to final inspection
**Required Skills & Experience**
+ At least6 months of experience in a production or manufacturing environment
+ Strong mechanical aptitude
+ Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic inspection techniques
+ Experience in machine operation, assembly, or general labor is a plus
**Work Environment**
+ 12-hour shifts on a2-2-3 schedule(work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days, then alternate)
+ Alternating weekly hours:48 hours one week, 36 hours the next
+ Casual, team-oriented environment with four openings on both day and night shifts
+ Contract role through the summer with potential for permanent hire after 6 months, based on performance and interest
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
