Grinder Operator**
**Job Description**
Join our fabrication department where you will be responsible for smoothing out newly welded parts using a handheld grinding tool. This role is perfect for those who are ready to work hard and earn competitive pay. No prior experience is necessary as we provide comprehensive training. This position involves removing weld spatter and ensuring the metals are smooth for paint adhesion. You will also be required to move materials as needed and wear protective PPE to safeguard against sparks during grinding.
**Responsibilities**
+ Remove all weld spatter from metal surfaces.
+ Smooth metals correctly to ensure proper paint adhesion.
+ Operate a handheld grinder efficiently.
+ Move materials as required to facilitate the fabrication process.
+ Wear protective PPE, including eye and body protection, while grinding.
**Essential Skills**
+ Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with mechanical assembly.
+ Experience with grinding and metal fabrication.
+ Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
+ Ability to effectively communicate with team members.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 6 months of fabrication experience preferred, especially in grinding.
+ Stable work history with no more than three jobs in the past 18 months.
+ Mechanically inclined and able to work with power or hand tools.
+ Capability to operate small electric grinding tools.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
