JOB REQUIREMENTS: County Materials Corporation is a leading manufacturer

and trusted industry resource for concrete construction and landscape

products. For more than 75 years, their products have been used to build

the communities where Americans live, work and play. We are seeking a

2nd shift Machine Operatorfor our customer, Machine Operator - County

Materials. Military service members and veterans are encouraged to

apply. Job Duties: Roll wire mesh for reinforced concrete manholes and

pipe manufacturing using a cage wire rolling machine. Attention to

detail - must be able to read and to interpret production shop drawings

Ensures machine is kept clean and well maintained at all times. Good

math skills- must be able to use a tape measure Perform preventative

maintenance and troubleshooting the wire machine as needed General

understanding of manufacturing processes Able to use or the ability to

learn how to tack weld and use a torch Able to learn how to operate a

forklift and overhead cranes Work closely with Plant Supervisor making

sure that all wire cages are produced as per the production schedule.

Work Environment: Work in indoor and outdoor weather conditions,

including extreme hot or cold temperatures Work near moving machinery

and equipment - could include electrical hazards Work in confined spaces

Work in a noisy environment Physical Requirements: Sitting

Carrying/Lifting 10 - 40 Pounds Standing / Walking / Climbing

Squatting/Crouching/Kneeling/Bending Pushing / Pulling / Reaching Above

Shoulder Experience & Qualifications: Ability and willingness to learn

and be trained Safety minded when performing tasks Ability to operate

forklift or other mobile equipment preferred, not required. Experience

in the construction and/or building materials industry preferred, not

required. Occasional heavy lifting may be required Mechanically inclined
