Level 1 – Manufacturing Technician I (Entry-Level)

Get started in your manufacturing career with basic mechanical and electrical assembly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and install components (e.g., seats, brackets, wiring harnesses).

  • Use basic tools safely and effectively.

  • Follow work instructions, blueprints, and diagrams.

  • Perform visual checks to ensure quality.

  • Keep your workspace clean and organized.

  • Record tasks accurately in the system.

  • Report issues to your supervisor.

  • Work under direct supervision.

Level 2 – Manufacturing Technician II (Intermediate)

Take on more technical builds and help improve our processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate specialized tools (e.g., multimeters, pneumatic drivers).

  • Assemble and troubleshoot mechanical/electrical systems.

  • Read and interpret technical drawings.

  • Suggest process improvements and support Lean/Kaizen events.

  • Inspect work for accuracy and quality.

  • Assist in root cause analysis for defects.

  • Mentor Level I technicians.

  • Collaborate across departments (Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality).

Level 3 – Senior Manufacturing Technician (Advanced)

Lead complex assemblies and drive continuous improvement across the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead installation and troubleshooting of integrated systems (e.g., lighting, hydraulics).

  • Use advanced diagnostic equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, scanners).

  • Train and mentor team members at all levels.

  • Analyze metrics to improve productivity and quality.

  • Lead Lean, Six Sigma, or CI projects.

  • Create and improve SOPs.

  • Oversee new product launches and complex revisions.

  • Serve as the go-to expert for technical escalations and compliance.
