DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Review shop operations packets and engineering drawings to insure that incoming material to be fabricated is correct. · Based on production specifications and/or Team Leaders’ instructions, selects and sets up tools, equipment and machines required for quality productions. · Reviews machine tooling requirements and plans set-up/operations to optimize flow of work through the cell/department. · Inspects and dimensionally checks production to insure production output meets requirements. Utilizes properly calibrated precision measuring instruments when performing inspections. · Makes machine/tooling adjustments to bring non-conforming out-put into specifications. Informs the Team Leader/Supervisor of any operating or material condition that would interfere with quality/quantity production. · Performs routine operator maintenance and operational checks on all tools and equipment utilized to include tool sharpening, machine oiling, fluid level/air pressure checks, safety switch functioning etc. · Segregates and periodically disposes of scrap material into approved collection containers. · Maintains an accurate record of all work performed in the appropriate company format/form. · Maintains work area, tools, and equipment in a neat, clean, and orderly manner. REQUIREMENTS Ability to read and write (High School or equivalent) needed to comply with written instructions and complete departmental paperwork. Three – five years previous experience in a sheet metal fabrication facility and familiarity with metric blueprint dimensioning required.

Duties: Debur and edge break plastic parts Prep parts for bonding by cleaning, sanding, and priming Bond Rubber parts to plastic using RTV silicone adhesives Pre kit epoxy film for use in assembly Bond parts using film epoxy in a clean room Install threaded inserts Hand mark parts using special inks  Maintain the inventory of bonding materials Assemble parts using mechanical fasteners such as screws, bolts, and rivets. Qualifications ·         Experience working with primers, solvents, epoxy and other bonding chemicals. ·         Experience using razor knives and sanders and adhesive dispensing equipment. ·         Ability to work to English written instructions and technical documents. ·         Ability to document your work on forms in English.  ·         Good manual dexterity. ·         Experience reading blueprints and using measuring equipments such as micrometers and calipers. ·         Strong interpersonal skills. Need to work well in a team environment. ·         Strong organizational skills. ·         Understand technical issues and can leverage previous technical experience to solve technical problems. ·         Must be willing to work as a member of a team in a professional manner. ·         High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
