Job Title: Plastics Machinist Company: IDS Location: Charlotte, NC Description: Flat sheet plastic fabrication company in Charlotte, NC seeking hands-on machinist for first shift. A self motivated and driven individual will do well in this position. Previous experience with table router, jointer, drill press/milling machines and other woodworking machinery is mandatory. Ability to run or be trained on a SCM - CNC Panel Saw will be mandatory as well. Prior work experience machining plastics is a plus. Materials include but are not limited to acrylic, PETG, polycarbonate, PVC Foam and HIPS. Daily tasks include job setups and production runs on shop tools/machines.
