Job Title: Manufacturing Technician II Company: Benchmark Electronics, Inc. Location: Dunseith, ND Description: Responsible for providing manufacturing equipment, materials, and processes to BEI production to help ensure customer requirements are met and corporate goals in relation to quality and process improvement. Provides support for production and Engineering software systems.• Documents processes and programs as required, assists in maintaining process programs and updates including programming and profiling of equipment. • Ability to support engineering software packages. Configure, debug and support data collection hardware such as scanners, printers, terminals for production use. • Coordinates training for new manufacturing equipment, materials, and processes , software tools as required • Proposes ideas for custom tooling for overall process & equipment improvement • Coordinates the equipment or facility moves for process improvement, lean and 5S initiatives • Helps with the disposition of used capital equipment as required • Stays abreast of equipment, material, and process trends in the electronic manufacturing industry • Periodic off hours support may be required on an as needed basis • Coordinates the installation of hardware and software updates as required • Works with process group as required on understanding and improving recurring manufacturing & equipment issues. Including the repair and maintenance of equipment. • Proposes, specifics, coordinates cost reduction tactics in manufacturing and/or facilities
