The Leading Nutraceutical company is looking for a Production Supervisor in the Salt Lake City valley ( Bilingual in Spanish preferred) Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 per year DOE Production Supervisor Job Description:The Production Supervisor serves as an integral part of the manufacturing department team in assuring coordination of efforts of the department in providing quality services to customers, production schedules and goal attainment.  Also provides leadership and direction to the packaging department.   Reviews production, quality control, efficiency reports and statistics to plan and supervises department activities. Position Responsibilities  With direction from Manufacturing Manager execute department-specific vision and mission to assure continuous improvement and alignment with the corporate vision. Supervisor production leads and hourly associates in their roles and responsibilities to meet plant objectives in safety, quality, cost, and customer service. Provide technical support for efficient troubleshooting / problem solving activities to maximize efficiencies and limit downtime. With direction from Manufacturing Manager manage department costs within budgetary guidelines. Supervise all team members such that good manufacturing practices (GMP) are adhered to and a professional appearance is maintained. Perform follow-up analysis to identify and resolve recurring downtime / inefficient operational issues. Drive employee engagement, training, and development to maximize manufacturing, quality, safety, and productivity goal attainment. Working directly with human resources, insure employee issues or concerns are correctly addressed and resolved. Initiate cost savings measures. Ensure all quality and regulatory standards, specifications and policies are met or exceeded.  Background Required: High School Diploma or GED.
