Job Title: Glass Production Supervisor Company: Location: Denver, CO Description: Atrium Windows and Doors is looking for a Glass Production Supervisor for it's Denver plant. Basic function: This position is responsible for supervising daily operations of insulated glass production while meeting departmental goals and maintaining a safe workplace. Problem Solving/Decision Making: ?Evaluate production needs in reference to materials, scrap and parts at beginning of shift, make appropriate manpower adjustments and coordinate with other departments in order to meet daily goals. ?Evaluate flow throughout shift to keep production lines supplied balanced and operating at maximum effectiveness to meet goals ?Evaluate equipment problems to determine if repairs are necessary and coordinating said repairs ?Evaluate personnel issues and make decisions on appropriate coaching or counseling and perform corrective action as necessary. ?Ensure all operators are certified or in the process of becoming certified in jobs being performed. Evaluate recurring problems (quality, delivery, safety, etc.), and work with team and manager to solve and make continuous improvements.
