The primary responsibility of the Supervisor of Plant Production is to supervise production operations, packaging and testing of “engineered to order” industrial equipment. The Supervisor will interpret and enforce company rules and policies, determine safe work methods and practices, identifies safety issues and implements corrective actions, analyzes and resolves work problems, performs safety related activities including tailgate meetings, incident investigations, etc., participates in lean manufacturing initiatives, participates in cross functional teams, and maintains or improves productivity levels.

The Supervisor of Plant Production directs the daily activities of the hourly shop employees, assigns work and overtime to hourly personnel, supervises work, assists workers in solving work problems, and evaluates progress of trainees. Employees will be working on lathes, mills, boring bars, CNC machining, hydraulic assembly, and welding in a Union environment.

Qualified applicants will possess a Bachelor’s degree, technical training, or equivalent experience. Relevant experience would be 5 years of manufacturing experience with at least 3 years of supervisory experience. Supervisor should have an understanding of programming CNC machines, API welding regulations, and assembly and testing cycles. In addition, experience should include work in a Union environment.
