Job Title: Production Planner Scheduler Company: Quiring Associates Inc. Location: Indianapolis, IN Description: Client is located on the N/E side of Indianapolis.They are looking for top talent who can assure the continuous supply and timely delivery of production materials to meet short lead time, high mix customer demand.Schedule and release shipments foropen purchase orders,work orders, consigned inventory, and kanbans. Also ensure that the supply plan supports demand plan and inventory targets based on maintaining accuracy of all planning parameters (lead times, lot sizes, safety stock).Monitor supplier capacity against incoming customer orders and forecasts.Handle spot quality issues dealing with on-time delivery, non-conforming shipments, and supplier corrective action reports.Coordinate supplier/product lead times.Individual should have a BS degree and a minimum of 2 years experience in production scheduling or purchasing.APICS traing a plus.Working knowledge of MRP.Working knowledge of SAP or ERP and S&Op processes required.Must have a working knowledge of inventory control and schedulingMust have a working knowledge of production flow and processes.
