Reviews production yields, ensuring that they are consistent with expectations. Communicates with Customer Service on a regular basis. - Recommends changes to minimize quality problems or on-time delivery issues. - Address material or finished goods shortage or other potential interruptions that may impact schedule.- Works with QA in preventing recurrences of non-conformances, quality problems, by taking corrective action. - Drive continuous improvement efforts. - Manages vendor and raw material specifications and required documents. - Organizes cycle counts. - Participates with implementation of new technology. - Supports safety and sanitation programs, facility development, SOPs. - Participates in safety, process, and recall committees. - Acts as alternate supervisor in place of executives covering floor.
