This position is alternate shift working from 1:30 am - 11:30 am and is eligible for shift differential. The successful candidate will act as advisor to staff members to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems as well as develop and administer schedules and performance requirements. This is a great opportunity to be on the front lines of manufacturing a first-in-class cancer treatment! General Summary: Leads manufacturing operations, including the development, planning, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing methods, processes and operations for new or existing products and technologies. Works closely with Quality groups to ensure strict compliance with cGMP guidelines at all times. Prepares documentation, reports and standard operating procedures. May be responsible for one or more of the following: Monitors, controls, and enforces manufacturing capacity, as well as labor and capital expenditures. Develops and implements manufacturing policies, procedures and programs. Assists with manufacturing investigations and audits. Makes recommendations for corrective action necessary to ensure conformity with quality specifications. Provides technical expertise to other departments as part of cross-functional project teams. Contributes to the development of department budget. Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Job Requirements: Bachelorâ??s degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent. Typically 7 years related experience in cGMP/FDA regulated industry. Typically 3 years leadership experience. Knowledge of cGMP/ICH/FDA regulations. Proficient in MS Office applications. Working Conditions and Physical Requirements: Ability to gown aseptically for work in Clean Room environments. Handling of biologic materials. May be required to work alternate shifts. Extensive use of laboratory equipment, chemicals and biological materials. Ability to lift 50lbs unassisted.
