Responsibilities: Oversee a team of Analysts and Specialists to manage the operational ownership of products once implemented to production. Manage employee dashboard for productivity, quality, and process adherence. Ensure the interests of Product Development within Sales and Marketing are represented in current and future claims processing system deliverables through the most cost effective and efficient means available. Develop and maintain measurements for each product accountable for. Measurements should monitor volume, productivity, and quality of information to ensure operational excellence. Oversee escalated issues and deliver solutions in a timely manner to meet the needs of Prime clients and customers. Oversee the standardization of processes and ensure customer needs are incorporated into standard operating procedures. Develop and manage department budget, staff goals and objectives, project plans and resources. Accountable for staff performance and deliverables. Manage and provide direction with the prioritization of projects, staffing allocation and effort forecasting relating to current and future projects. Other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree. Three to five years experience with either Consumer Directed Health Plans or ePrescribe products. Preferred Qualifications: Previous management experience Interpersonal skills necessary to manage staff and build relationships across the enterprise. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience writing proposals and giving presentations. Ability to coordinate multiple projects/tasks simultaneously. Possess strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills. Ability to work under pressure and strict timelines Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint and Access. POSITION TITLE VALUE STREAM MANAGER DEPARTMENT OPERATIONS PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION To provide leadership for the activities and personnel of the assigned Production Area / Value Streams in a manner to obtain a safe, efficient, productive, and economical manufacturing operation. Responsible for increasing the ratio of value to non-value and eliminating waste in the overall supply chain from start to finish, for a defined product family; and for ensuring that the value stream meets or exceeds customer requirements. MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY Be a change agent and drive out waste throughout the manufacturing operation through the deployment of the Lean methodology. Drive a continuous improvement culture by involving employees in problem solving and decision making as well as recognizing them for exceptional work. Leading the day-to-day production activities within the value stream(s) to ensure that current commitments are achieved while improvements are being made. Track daily performance; verify team leader counter measures and recovery plans are in place for missed targets. Ensure process center communication boards are being used on a daily basis. Recommend and implement changes regarding production capability, tooling, machine replacement and staffing in support of production plans as well as cost-effective procedures, systems, tooling, equipment, etc., to continually improve manufacturing productivity. Coordinate and facilitate activities that respond to customer and market needs through contact with marketing and sales departments and district sales offices. Participate, monitor and maintain adherence to established departmental budgets -- both expense and capital. Develop open lines of communication to continually monitor employee attitudes and concerns, and implement appropriate actions with input from Human Resources. Responsible for requisitioning, placing, training, directing, appraising, promoting, disciplining, or other actions relating to the manufacturing operations employees assigned to the Production Area / Value Streams. Ensure the proper application of established employee regulations, policies, wage and salary administration policies, and safety and health regulations. Ensure cultural diversity is maintained and enhanced at all times. Assist with the development of current and future state value stream maps and continuous improvement plans, as well as the implementation of those plans. Provide coaching, information, ideas, feedback and encouragement to team leaders, associates and managers to promote the growth and development of the value stream team. Support new process and product development and implementation. Be highly visible to associates and create a safe environment for participation. Promote hands-on, high involvement approaches to problem solving. Job Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED BA or BS in business, engineering or related field or equivalent experience. 3 years in a Manufacturing Leadership Role or equivalent. Demonstrated understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts.
