Location: Burr Ridge, IL Description: POSITION AVAILABLEProduct Manager, Industrial Gases (Praxair Distribution, Inc., Burr Ridge, ILApply knowledge of industrial gases distribution, including atmospheric gases, tank/cylinder filling, handling and storage to support bulk gases growth with market pricing and installation support and manage gas supply transition for acquisitions. Manage billing process for gas products, service fees and surcharges, and monitor supplier invoicing for gases and gas equipment. Assist in target setting for marketing campaigns and organic growth by analyzing data for trends and drivers and identifying and correlating relevant market indices. Work with financial, pricing and operations teams to create financial reports, establish list prices and service fees, logic for price matrix levels, gas part number set ups and conversions, standard cost analysis, rationalization of cylinder package offerings, and price increase support materials. Coordinate with GPMM (Global Procurement and Materials Management) and Growth Managers on purchase product relationships. Analyze and report on costing history, changes and contributing factors. Work on profit enhancing projects including sourcing guide implementation and maintenance, pricing calculators/guidance for specialty gases, account specific product and account profitability analysis, stack analysis and value share, and Make versus Buy analysis. Conduct business development, contract management and cost/price negotiations.
