The position is NOT located in Little Rock, so candidates residing in Little Rock will need to relocate. The position will report to the Plant Manager. The company is a leader in its industry and strives to further enhance its position and performance with this position. Relocation assistance will be provided for the successful candidate. Responsibilities The successful candidate will have responsibility for managing a production unit. Extensive experience in manufacturing rubber and plastic products and familiarity with polymer chemistry is essential. Extensive interaction with internal departments including Product Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Supply Chain as well as other departments is essential to ensure success in the position. Qualifications The successful candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities: 5 years minimum experience in leadership position in manufacturing of rubber and/or plastic products Familiarity with polymer processing, preferably with thermoset and thermoplastic polymer compounding and extrusion processes High School diploma is required and a BS degree is a plus Experience dealing with other departments to identify and resolve quality and process issues Strong leadership experience experience Excellent communication and presentation skills both oral and written Strong initiative, high energy Technically oriented PC literate (Excel, Power Point, Word) MAKE A STRONG CAREER MOVE AND APPLY NOW!
