The products must be assembled in such a manner that approved safety, quality standards, delivery schedules and cost requirements are fulfilled.   Responsibilities:1. Directs work group or department to assure on-time production and delivery.2. Selects and trains employees to produce at standard and above efficiency.3. Responsible for maintaining quality standards.4. Responsible for maintaining high employee morale and positive relationships.5. Responsible for teaching safe work practices, good housekeeping procedures and seeing they are adhered to.6. Responsible for having machines and/or equipment kept in good repair.7. Recommends changes or improvement in methods, equipment, handling or lay-out.8. Responsible for controlling absenteeism, scrap and waste. REQUIREMENTSFour years experience supervising personnel in a manufacturing environment. Must speak fluent English and Spanish Leadership skills which involves developing, communicating and maintaining positive interpersonal relationships with and among employees. Lean manufacturing knowledge.
