Plans, coordinates and expedites the flow of materials through production. Work with Master Scheduler to review forecast plans for new and existing products based on customer demand. Coordinates and plans engineering changes and build schedules with internal and external suppliers such that inventory levels are sufficient. Monitor and manage excess and obsolete inventory levels. Controls inventory replenishment process, works with suppliers on inventory levels, shipments, WIP, etc. Estimates and sets up lead times, safety stock parameters and re-order points. Collaboration with Quality, Purchasing, Engineering and Manufacturing teams on product changes.   Required Skills Required experience with ERP or MRP systems as well as spreadsheets such as Excel, etc. Requires strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills. Experience with PeopleSoft software preferred. APICS certification or working toward certification a plus. Self-directed and able to work successfully in both team and individual environments. Strong organizational, written and verbal skills as well as ability to communicate with all levels of organization in a clear, concise and professional manner.
