Job Title: Materials Manager - Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico Company: Hamilton Sundstrand Location: Windsor Locks, CT Description: Hamilton Sundstrand is among the largest global suppliers of technologically advanced aerospace and industrial products. (a2 Responsible for the management of the Materials team in Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico in an electronics manufacturing facility including: materials planning, customer service and MRO functions in compliance with company standards and fulfilling customer requirements (a2 Responsible for managing warehouse and point of use inventory locations (a2 Perform executive level presentations involving manufacturing Cycle Time, Inventory and Materials Strategic Planning (cost reduction/inventory reduction) (a2 B.A / B.S. in business Administration or Engineering required. M.S. in Engineering or MBA preferred8 years experience in Supply Chain management roles Complete understanding of Production Planning function in a manufacturing environment Demonstrated experience in Materials Resource Planning (MRP) and Capacity Resource Planning (CRP) Full knowledge of Inventory Cycle Counts and standard inventory control management APICS CPIM certification preferred Demonstrated participative leadership style that fosters talent development, and leadership competency improvements Experience working with Six Sigma, Lean or ACE tools is highly desirable Fully bilingual (Spanish & English) preferred PowerPoint, Excel and Access Data base management knowledge Willing to travel, as needed United Technologies Corporation is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
