Job Title: Material Handler Company: ITU Location: South Bend, IN Description: ITU, Inc. / AbsorbTech, LLC is an independently owned provider of industrial laundry services. We provide customers with high quality products and services throughout the Midwest and East Coast. To ensure that quality, we are looking for a Material Handler to join our growing production environment in our South Bend, IN facility. The primary responsibilities will include regular and repeated lifting of heavy soiled industrial laundry, shifting/staging loaded 55 gallon drums, and other general labor duties as required.  Must be a team player and learn a rotational positions to cover all production areas as needed within our facility.  Products include our SorbIts® product line, shop towels, printer towels, mats, uniforms, etc.  Hours for this position are 10 hour days Monday - Thursday, with a flexible schedule to potentially work on Friday if work load permits.    Qualified candidates must be able to lift 50lbs, work standing all day and with a good range of motion, have a good attendance and safety record with previous employers, and pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.  Previous dry cleaning experience is a plus.     We provide our employees with a stable work environment, generous wages, excellent benefits, 401K, and advancement opportunities.  Self motivation and positive attitude are highly preferred, and perfect attendance is rewarded in our company.
