Remove excess packaging materials and transfer to appropriate areas. Perform pick-up, transfer, and shrink wrapping of completed pallets of finished product. Inspect finished pallets for compliance with Packaging Work Orders and Standard Operating Procedures. Maintain the component staging area to support manufacturing operations and communicate shortages or problems to the supervisor. Display effective communication with both peers and management. Perform required cleaning of general work area. Adhere to all safety requirements. Complete material transactions in the material management system. Replace full containers of purge resin, deliver to Grinding Deparment. Maintain effectiveness of the Quality System. Other duties as assigned.POSITION REQUIREMENTSEducation and Experience: High School Diploma or GED Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferredKnowledge/Skills Requirements High level of attention to detail. Excellent documentation skills. Works well in a team environment. Works well under pressure and able to prioritize workloads. Must be able to interact effectively with a variety of individuals and styles within and between departments. Must be computer literate with MS Office, spreadsheets and ERP & PSR systems (JDE preferred).• Basic mathematical and reasoning ability. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Should be familiar with cGMP and safe work practices.
