Sam Dong is one of the world?s leading manufacturers of magnet wire for the electrical coil winding industry. The plant located in Delaware, Ohio is a copper casting and rolling facility producing oxygen-free rod and strip products. We are adding this Production Associate position due to growth and expansion at the facility. The Production Associate will support, operate, and set up various machinery in the assigned department. This associate will be responsible for the quality of all products produced. Qualified candidates should have familiarity with blueprints, previous experience with gauging equipment such as micrometers and calipers, and previous experience operating overhead cranes and hoists, as well as forklifts. Knowledge of the metric and English systems is important, as well as good computer skills. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment with set-up and quality checks is strongly preferred. Lean manufacturing experience is a plus. Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, as well as experience in a manufacturing environment.
