Position description:This position employs an individual responsible for directing the activities of a small group of assemblers and technicians performing light mechanical, opto-mechanical, pneumatics, electrical, wire and harness assembly. This person will also be responsible for scheduling the assembly of entire laser systems, associated tooling, and production floor support as needed. This job is a hands-on position and it is expected that the majority of this individuals’ time will be spent performing assembly work. From time to time, it may become necessary for this individual to perform other non-routine tasks such as kitting or facility maintenance. The ideal candidate will be a well rounded self-starter that can work independently with minimum direction. Summary of duties:·         Organize assembly of Resonetics laser systems for resale and in-house use.·         Prepare systems for shipment·         Work with engineering for testing and aligning of opto-electro-mechanical systems.·         Assist in the qualification testing of systems.·         Provide assistance to the Engineering organization for prototype or one of a kind assembly.·         Prepare status reports indicating the progress of projects ·         Responsible for production of process procedures to be used in the laser systems area.
