Job Title: Production Technician

Description:
Job Purpose: Tests and repairs printed circuit boards and final assembly products. Essential Functions: 85% Retrieves and sets up test fixtures to hold printed circuit boards for testing. Tests and repairs receiver/transmitter printed circuit boards and final assembly products by using: volt meter, audio distortion meter, radio frequency generator, and an audio amplifier. Performs repairs by identifying assembly errors and resoldering or desoldering components. Refers to packet list and solders crystals onto printed circuit boards to be tested. 15% Communicates with supervisors on assembly errors and makes modifications on electrical circuits per engineering instructions. Assists engineering with product improvement by testing and reworking existing boards to achieve a higher quality product. Job Requirements: High school graduate with A.A.S. in Electronic Technology. Two years experience in repair of wireless products using various testing equipment and meters (i.e. RF signal generator, frequency counter, audio generator/analyzer, wave machine, oscilloscope, amplifiers, volt/ohm/distortion meters, and computers).
