Job Title: Graphic Designer & Sign Production Specialist Company: Location: Hartford, CT Description: Graphic Design and Sign Production Specialist is responsible for creating vinyl and/or full color graphics output that can be weeded, cut and applied or printed and mounted to a substrate. Person will also be asked to produce ?drop ins? of created graphics onto photos of job sites and buildings. Must be highly proficient in Adobe Illustrator. In the production room, the person hired is responsible for all aspects of the physical construction of signs, assembling signs from computer cut vinyl and wide format full color prints and various substrates. Assembly may also include set up and operation of a ?laminator? for over-laminating or mounting of various adhesive vinyl products. Knowledge of how to work a solvent (Mimaki) Printer and Plotter as well as a Seal Laminator is a plus.. Degree required TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS 1. Ability to sit for long periods of time. 2. Ability to view a computer screen for long periods of time. 3. Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high quality work. 4. Ability to lift 50 or more pounds. 5.
