Job Title: Amplifier Technician
Company: Spacek Labs Location: Santa Barbara, CA Description: Spacek Labs is looking for an assembly and test technician to build microwave and millimeter-wave amplifiers. Candidate must be good with their hands and have experience working with small, delicate parts that require work under a microscope. Candidate must have experience with test equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal sources and power meters. They should demonstrate accuracy and consistency in their work and a desire to work on new things, as we build a wide variety of products in smaller quantities. Experience required in wirebonding and assembly of microwave/millimeter-wave components. Responsibilities include assembling and testing microwave and mm-wave amplifiers, determining test set-up configurations, recording and analyzing test data. We are a small, family-owned company of 22 employees.
