Job Title: Sr. Equipment Maintenance Technician -Chandler Company: Microchip Technology, Inc. Location: Chandler, AZ Description: Perform preventative maintenance and repair of various equipment sets within the wafer Probe and final test.  Become a member of the ERT (Emergency Response Team) team.  Provide clear and concise communication with maintenance technicians, production, engineering and vendors.  Support improvement activities/teams with active participation. Read and interpret electrical/electronic schematics    Possess strong verbal communication and written documentation skills regarding equipment repairs and procedures.    Consistent in performing preventative maintenance in a timely manner    Work well with others in a team environment    Follow Probe manufacturing and safety protocol    Document equipment performance and Preventative Maintenance functions in equipment management system.  Able to pareto failures and offer solutions for permanent fixes. Able to work on all area equipment with minimal assistance. Prefer experience on Teradyne J750, Accretech Probers. Job Requirements:AA/AS in Electronic Engineering required, plus a minimum of 5 years experience in electronics.  The applicant should have a minimum of 3 years of experience working with equipment in a Probe and/or Final Test area. Must be able to pass an ERT physical.  Must be able to travel when requested.  Must be able to lift up to sixty pounds.
