Job Title: Machinist - Weekend Days Company: Spherion Location: Fargo, ND Description: Machinist - Weekend Days Machinist--Weekend Day shiftMust apply online at www.spherioncareers.com Pay Rate: $14.01 - $18.50/hr Location: West Fargo, ND ***This shift will start at the pay scale listed and train for roughly three months before moving to the weekend shift of 5:00 am - 5:30 pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday with the possibility of OT. The weekend shift includes a $4 per hour shift differential.*** The machinist operates a variety of machine tools and equipment to accurately machine final product. The machinist will also assist in the development of new products and processes. Requirements: 3-5 years experience in a machine shop environment; will also consider a recent graduate with a good aptitude for learning and some shop environment experience. Ability to read blueprints. This person will need to be able to read and understand the code generated by CAD/CAM and revise it as needed for each part. Job will be 50% set-up and programming equipment and 50% operation.Duties: Knowledge of Vertical Lathe helpful, but not required. Must be able to use calipers and set and program their own machine.
