Position Summary: Candidates must have skill and experience to assemble solar manufacturing equipment according to customer requirements while using standard safe manufacturing practices, Bills of Materials, assembly drawings, SOPs, and internal quality documents, while meeting allocated budget, direct labor hours, and stated delivery schedule. ? All candidates must have ability to completely assemble solar manufacturing capital equipment alone or act as project leader and provide direction to other assemblers assigned to assist with projects ? Start and/or maintain project files prior to equipment assembly with appropriate documentation ? Required to perform proper wiring techniques, including harnessing terminations and connectors, using procedures, electrical and mechanical schematics ? Ability to fabricate small-scale parts such as brackets, mounts, and re-work parts as required ? Generate DCO?s as required to insure proper documentation and ?as built? prints ? Work with Engineering and the Manufacturing Engineer with product design reviews and/or cost reduction exercises ? Operate Spire equipment with working knowledge of features and functionality ? Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of parts.
