Job Title: Plastics Machinist Company: IDS Location: Charlotte, NC Description: Flat sheet plastic fabrication company in Charlotte, NC seeking hands-on machinist for first shift. A self motivated and driven individual will do well in this position. Previous experience with table router, jointer, drill press/milling machines and other woodworking machinery is mandatory. Ability to run or be trained on a SCM - CNC Panel Saw will be mandatory as well. Prior work experience machining plastics is a plus. Materials include but are not limited to acrylic, PETG, polycarbonate, PVC Foam and HIPS. Daily tasks include job setups and production runs on shop tools/machines. Applicants must be able to machine and read measuring tools to the 1/32”. Health, Dental & LTD Insurance are available. Pay rate will be based on past experience as a machinist and working with plastics.

Job Title: Machinist - 3rd Shift - Company: Location: Portland, OR Description: Kyocera Industrial Ceramics Corporation is seeking a 3rd shift CNC and/ or manual machinist to join our team. We are located in Vancouver, WA on a bus line. Our emphasis is on grinding ceramics, but we are willing to train individuals with a metals-based background. Requirements Include: 2-5 yrs recent, previous machining experience reqd; Ability to read and understand technical drawings and/or blueprints; Ability to operate manual mills, lathes, cylindrical grinders and drill presses; Ability to accurately measure using mircrometers Must be able to speak, understand directions, and write in English Pass a drug screen and criminal background check Ablity to lift 15 lbs regularily and stand for 6-8 hours per day; Ability to follow instructions and work independently in a production enviroment Able to work 3rd shift and overtime as required. Shifts generally start between 10pm and midnight. All machinist positions will start on a Temporary basis.
