This position reports to the COO (former Army Officer) and works closely with sales, engineering, production, and vendors. RESPONSIBILITES: ? Lead Plant Operations in all day to day functions ? Analyze production plan and shift/augment headcount as required. ? Ensure high level customer service/fill rate, high inventory turns and inventory accountability through system integrity/accuracy to include proper manufacturing order entry and closing. ? Proactively check for potential stock-outs and take action immediately to ensure material availability. ? Closely work with MRP team to confirm feasibility of production plan. ? Closely work with quality and engineering to support new product and new vendor development while ensuring repeatability of first article part standards. ? Monitor and change as necessary process to monitor and validate team performance. ? Create and manage an aggressive cost savings program for materials and human resources. ? Support Bid Desk RFPs with correct data. ? Adheres to and supports ISO / AS processes, certification renewal and ensures areas of responsibility are in constant compliance. ? Complete special projects and perform other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS ? BS with 5 to 7 years leadership experience. Previous plant leadership is helpful but the right proactive officer is going to shine in this position with the skills he/she learned in the Military. ? Strong decision-making, communication, analytical, collaborative, negotiation, and systems skills. ? Must be exceptionally detail oriented with ability to collect data, analyze results, and present findings/recommendations to senior business leaders. ? Ability to work in a fast-paced business environment and manage multiple tasks. Salary Range is in the 60?s to 70?s with bonus potential, excellent benefits, including medical, dental, life, 401K plan and paid vacation. Slight Relocation may be available for the right person ?
