Eaton Corporation located in Shawnee, Oklahoma has an immediate opening for a Plant Manager. The Shawnee plant is a part of Eaton’s Industrial Sector and produces Hydraulic Motors and Components. The facility is an integral part of the division’s growth and operational platforms worldwide. Reporting to the Director- Manufacturing Operations, Power & Motion Controls Americas Operations –Hydraulics, this position is responsible for leading the overall activities of the assigned Plant consistent with the Eaton Business System, the Hydraulics Business strategic and profit plans to obtain the short and long term goals and objectives of the assigned Plant. Responsibilities Include: A. Develop and implement suitable short and long range plans to obtain assigned Plant and group objectives such as the profit plan, strategic plan, human resource plan and forecasts. B. Provide leadership, direction and manage all Plant operations to include manufacturing, operational excellence, finance, materials, engineering, quality, EHS and human resources. C. Coordinate and direct through subordinate managers, all functions of facility operations, including but not limited to manufacturing, asset utilization, inventory control, facilities control, building lay-out and construction, maintenance, manufacturing projects and studies, cost control, manpower utilization, work standards and administration. D. Review, maintain, control, implement corrective action and regularly report on the financial progress of the plant within the assigned group to maintain profit plan expectations and insure incremental/decremental performance. E. The position is accountable for the implementation of governmental and Company policies dealing with Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Plan compliance in the facility. Incumbent is further accountable to see that subordinate supervision is made aware of Company policies regarding Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Plans, and that they conform to the requirements and intent of these policies and programs. Thorough understanding of manufacturing financial statements and the ability to interpret financial reports and create action plans based on these interpretations.
