Our client is a highly diversified global manufacturing powerhouse.  Our client operates seven (7) highly decentralized operating divisions that combined for over 3 billion dollars in global sales last year.   This publicly traded company is listed on the NYSE and celebrated in 2009 its 32nd year of record earnings, profits, and dividend payouts to shareholders.  They are a darling on Wall Street and 2010 is off to an incredible start.  This division is a top producer of friction materials for braking systems for off-highway industrial, agricultural, wind equipment markets, military equipment; on-highway and towed vehicle actuation systems.  With 5 locations here is the US and globally, they continue to grow and expand at an incredible rate.  We are working with their Divisional Headquarters in Bloomington, Indiana and they have asked us to help them fill a critical role right there in Bloomington.  Our client, has asked us to help them find a Plant Manager to come in and direct overall activities of their manufacturing plant to ensure customer orders are received, scheduled, produced and shipped on time and under budget.  The ideal candidate will lead Manufacturing, logistics, procurement, manufacturing engineering, plant HR, quality and the materials group.  A background with machining and CNC centers would be a major plus!  This person must have a strong background with Lean, Six Sigma and other continuous improvement.Requirements:1. BS Degree and 10 plus yrs of experience.2.  A background with Machining, Assembly and CNC Centers.3. P&L and budget background plus training and supervise staff4. Lean and Six Sigma background5. Help drive improvement and success with deadlines6. Support plant safety programs

Provides strong leadership and direction to the plant in all areas of responsibility including administration, production, processing, packaging, quality, maintenance, warehousing, shipping, purchasing, safety, and environmental.
