We are currently accepting resumes for the position of Expeditor/Planner for our Smith Lift facility in Orem, UT. Job Summary: The position is responsible for the material planning and development, purchasing and inventory management for the manufacturing department of Smith Lift. Specific job duties include but are not limited to: Purchase and conduct inventory of products, as required Conducts a systematic follow-up process on all open purchase orders to minimize production delays and costly rescheduling due to shortage of purchased material Work with the suppliers to expedite orders ensuring they are delivered as required and on time Maintain a neat and orderly inventory of materials Enter, maintain and close work orders Handles special projects, as assigned.
