Job Title: Expediter-Manufacturing Company: PDS Technical Services Location: Hawthorne, CA Description: Expedites, routes, and dispatches material and parts in accordance with production schedules and commitments. Reviews master production schedule to determine possible and actual shortages and alerts proper authorities of potential problems. Generates progress reports on schedule status and keeps records of completed orders. Takes appropriate action to expedite materials such as order damaged material repaired or in-house material transportation. Reports on completion dates, material changes or substitutions, shortages, and schedule modifications. Uses personal computer (PC) and material/ production tracking software.Responsible for receiving, verifying completeness of Work Orders, counting, storing and inputting into Inventory System, accurate Inventory counts and location records for all part numbers received into their user deliver to unit and for day to day customer service, kitting and Stockroom security. Duties include Inventory Reconciliation, Daily Audits, Cycle Counts, Aging Transit to Stock and No Location Reports. Skin movement within the factory and Skin Van loading and unloading.Qualifications:Minimum lifting requirement of 25 pounds, to a lifting distance of 3-5 feet and lifting height of 6 feet. Job Title: Production Expediter Company: Sai People Solutions, Inc. Location: Mcclellan, CA Description: Production Expediter Person will be responsible for monitoring and providing support, as needed, for critical material and material discrepancies through the production cycle. Will expedite notice of delay of material for resolution by the appropriate material control, engineering, purchasing, or project personnel. Acts as a liaison between material planners and configuration administration and data management. Assists in reconciling material problems which may include supplier liaison and the coordination of problems with affected departments.
