This position has total responsibility for our new Manufacturing location in the city of North Las Vegas. This plant will have a total annual capacity of 150 MW when fully loaded with around 300 employees. It will report to SVP of Manufacturing Operations. The position will be directly responsible for Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Safely. It will also work closely with Head Quarter and co manage supporting roles such as Supply Chain, Finance and Human Resources.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESDirect and coordinate plant operations within company policies and procedures. Maintain a clean and safe plant. Establish and direct plant policies and procedures. Responsible for plant production, Quality and safety goals. Establish and maintain a positive community relationship. Foster a well-trained and motivated staff. Responsible for establishing all shift production schedules. Select and train plant supervisory and administrative staff. Conduct employee performance reviews. Attend scheduled corporate training and meetings. Other duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS BS in a technical field. Official Lean Manufacturing and 6 Sigma training preferred. In depth understanding of P/L required.Minimum of 15 years in high tech/ Complex Assembly manufacturing management roles with a minimum of 5 years as Plant Manager. In depth knowledge of and hands on experience with Lean Manufacturing and 6 Sigma Quality programs. Must have direct experience in managing Engineering, Quality, and Material Management.
