Job Title: Manufacturing Supervisor_Jackson Company: Amware Logistics Services Location: Jackson, MS Description: Amware Pallet Services is looking for an experienced Operations Supervisor.  Minimum of one year warehouse or manufacturing experience in a production based environment. Demonstrated strength in employee relations, leadership skills and problem solving skills. Able to work without supervision, and take on added responsibilities. Must have strong computer skills in Excel, Outlook, and Word.  Responsibilities will include but not limited to:Responsibilities Produces products by monitoring production levels; recommending adjustments to process setting; supervising staff.Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations. Meets production operational standards by implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying process improvements.RequirementsExposure to Lean Manufacturing in a manufacturing or warehouse environment Experience running a production safety program Experience supervising others in a manufacturing or warehouse setting Must be well versed in Microsoft Office Must have good mechanical aptitude, general maintenance experience is a plus Previous experience in a fast paced, high volume, warehouse environment Willingness to travel and assist with expertise at other sites as needed. Job Title: Manufacturing Supervisor Company: Company Confidential Location: Iuka, MS Description: Description ·         Working in a manufacturing facility ·         Supervise, direct and coordinate hourly employees to achieve safety, quality, production, and on time delivery requirements·         Rotation of 1st and 2nd Shifts ·         Supervising a team of co-workers to achieve set goals on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis ·         Act as a liaison between the shop floor and the management team ·         Complete weekly reports and enter key production data ·         Implement production schedule resolving work problems and recommending measures to improve productivity, quality and safety·         Assure safe working conditions ·         Monitor and deliver quality standards ·         Ensure Lean Manufacturing and other compliance requirements·         Determine methods and procedures to complete work efficiently, utilizing available materials and employees·         Ensure 5S is applied to all aspects of the operation·         Monitor process control standards, review SPC and various process tools daily,·         Identify training needs and orient employees to processes and equipment on the shop floor·         Organize weekday and weekend overtime as required Requirements ·         Must have a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience over at least 10 subordinates. ·         Must have a strong mechanical aptitude.·         Six+ years a manufacturing environment.·         Previous experience in a steel fabrication environment is an advantage.·         Individuals must be able to demonstrate leadership and team building skills and have above average oral and written communication skills.·         High school diploma or equivalent (college a plus) ·         Basic computer skills, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook.
