Job Title: Machinist/CNC Mill Programmer Company: Location: Baltimore, MD Description: Rapidly growing job shop needs machinist with CNC mill experience to program, set up and operate CNC mills. At least five years of machinist experience and two or more years of experience as a CNC machinist preferred. Working knowledge of CAD systems such as MasterCAM, Gibbs, and AutoCAD programming is a required. Ability to develop CNC programming from CAD design drawings or prototype parts with minimal supervision required. Understanding of raw materials and related machining preferred. Applicants must be able to interpret 2D files and prints and generate CNC programs to support machining of New Products / Fixtures. Reverse engineering from part samples and identify tooling required to support the CNC machine programs. Also assist shop personnel in the set-up of CNC Lathes and Mills to optimize the manufacturing process defined by the CNC program.
