Technical Associates Degree preferred. - Five years programming experience with Mastercam and Solid Works. - Must be able to create detailed operation drawings. - Must be able to read, follow, and create production set-up and tooling sheets. - Troubleshoot machining problems. - Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut, or enters commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media. - Order and request tools as required. - Order and or request raw materials and/or other supplies as needed. - Aid the Production Supervisor inventory tooling and materials as required. - Should have excellent written and oral communications skills. - Study blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations, and set up requirements - Works well in a team environment and must interface with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Marketing, Technicians and outside vendors. - Must be able to communicate effectively at a technical level.
