Qualified candidate will have a minimum of 3 years programming experience on 3 axis CNC vertcals. GibbsCam experience a plus. Supervisory experience a plus. Job Purpose: Produce machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies. * Programs mills entering instructions via CAD/CAM software (GibbsCam), including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs. * Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces; adhering to international standards. * Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. * Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. * Documents actions by completing production and quality logs. * Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications. * Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Skills/Qualifications: Must be a team player and do well to get along with coworkes. Job Title: CNC programmer Company: Location: Fayetteville, AR Description: Aerospace machine shop is aggressively seeking a CNC mill machinist/programmer. This person will be responsible for the programming/set-up of Fanuc controlled 3 axis mills while supervising operators of these machines as required. This position is available to a master machinist/programmer with a minimum of 3 years experience. Candidate must be a team player.
