Job Title: Assistant Plant Manager Company: Personified Location: Wichita, KS Description: Farmland. Good Food from the Heartland. Farmland Foods, one of the nation's largest farm fresh meat products suppliers, is currently hiring an Assistant Plant Manager to join our Wichita, KS (500 employee sized) plant. *We will offer relocation assistance if necessary for the right candidate* Our Assistant Plant Manager will report to the Plant Manager and assist in planning, leading, guiding, directing and managing all business within our Wichita, Kansas plant. Our Assistant Plant Manager will: Train, manage (8 direct reports) and direct all support staff activities to include HR/Safety, Food Safety/QA, Accounting, maintenance and production supervision Maintain Yield and Labor goals by tracking progress and identifying opportunities while implementing solutions Ensure efficient and profitable operation by conformation to specifications and procedures Guarantee approachability and support to all levels of employees (approximately 500 within the plant) Establish accurate fixed and capital budgets for annual planning purposes while ensuring operation are functioning to cost and budget so all aspects of the operation contribute to the total P & L More!
